Less than a month after Penticton Regional Airport announced new flights to and from Vancouver and Calgary, Pacific Coastal Airlines has announced even more starting in June.
The B.C.-based company announced that from April 28 to June 22, two more daily flights will be offered from the Penticton Regional Airport to Vancouver.
From June 7 to Sept. 23, the airline will add another daily flight on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and select Wednesdays.
Two more trips will offered on Tuesday and Thursday and one more flight will be added on Saturday during the summer months.
The airline will be switching to a larger 34-seat plane for its regular daily flights, with the additional Saturday flight using their 19-seat plane.

The announcement comes after Air Canada, citing a pilot shortage, grounded all service at the Penticton Regional Airport in January 2024.
WestJet and Pacific Coastal are the lone airlines to currently fly out of the South Okanagan airport, with Calgary and Vancouver serving as the only direct destinations.
The latter operates out of Vancouver International Airport’s South Terminal and currently flies to 18 different B.C. destinations.
