An alternative Indie/soul artist is bring her sounds to the valley, with some help from a friend.

Steph Wall is co-headlining her Interior BC Summer Tour with Joe Abbott, making three Okanagan stops.

Wall is promoting her new single Velcro, kicking off at The Dream Cafe in Penticton on July 9 with her full band experience.

The more intimate duo shows with Abbott take place July 10 in Lavington, at a private house show and July 11 at Enderby's Small Axe. The pair will also play the Kamloops Inn July 12 and another house show in Lillooet July 13.

Opening up about the meaning of the song, Wall say dramatic vocals and heavy-hitting instrumentation encapsulate how fragile one can feel when leaving a toxic situation.

“This song is me working through the complicated emotions that come with the ending of an abusive romantic relationship.”

With crooner vocals over alt-country and folk inspired melodies and licks, Abbott just finished touring around Canada as a part of Petunia and the Vipers.
